This pair of Dragon Menuki is Mumei but has been attributed to the Kyo-kinko Tradition. The Dragons are depicted using elaborate carving skills where the scales really stand out. Considering the condition, this pair of Menuki were crafted in the Mid Edo Period, by a branch family of the Goto Tradition, so called Waki-Goto in Kyoto.
