| This theme of this pair of Menuki is Sacred Lion Parent with Child. It is Mumei but has been attributed to the Kyo-kanagushi Tradition. The reason for the attribution was because of it was crafted by using thinner than average plates. However, considering the quality of gold and engraving skills, it was likely crafted by a craftsman related to the Goto Tradition. It passed the Hozon Tosogu in 2023. |
