| The theme of this Tsuba is Lattices. The Lattices resemble Tensho characters. Tensho is seal-engraving style for writing kanji. The Lattices were inlayed on the well-forged iron surface with Sukashi. This Tsuba resembles the work of the Den-umetada Tradition and it was so attributed. It is a bit mysterious design since the meaning is unclear. |
