The 21st Nishikasai Token Ichi was held for five days from Wednesday, September 9, at our Tokyo Nishikasai shop. With the autumn rain front lingering over the region, we had rainy weather throughout the event. The Nishikasai Token Ichi is held every three months, and each time we place advertisements in the Tokyo and Chiba editions of the Yomiuri Shimbun. This was our 21st Nishikasai Token Ichi. Despite the rainy weather, the shop was bustling every day with our regular customers, those who visit us especially for this quarterly event, and many first-time visitors. We were so busy that our staff hardly had time for lunch each day. This time, even more customers than usual purchased swords and fittings, making it a very successful and rewarding five-day event. We sincerely thank everyone who visited and supported the 21st Nishikasai Token Ichi.
