This swordsmith, Higo no Kami Kuniyasu, first generation, was the third son of Kawachi no Kami Kunisuke, first generation, the so-called, Oya Kunisuke. This swordsmith's work is not common to see because he assisted his elder brother, Kawachi No Kami Kunisuke, second generation, the so-called Naka Kawachi. This swordsmith's work resembles Naka Kawachi and held the reputation of Owazamono and Josaku Toko. The features of this Wakizashi are a Hamon resembling Kobushi-choji with muneyaki. On the shirasaya, Kanzan Sensei wrote Sayagaki. Very sound condition. It has passed the Tokubetsu Hozon Shinsa in 2018. |
