"Kaizukushi" (all kinds of shells) is a popular theme that depicts the beautiful shapes of various main shells. This futatokoro consists of kozuka and kogai, makes raised and lowered areas created with usuniku-bori technique on the Shakudo Nanako pattern ground look like a beach, and conch, spiral shells, clams, scallops, etc. with silver curvilinear inlays to represent the flowing waters of the sea. It "Kaizukushi" (all kinds of shells) is a popular painting theme that depicts the beautiful shapes of various main shells in pictures and patterns. This piece has a base of Shakudo Nanako (a type of copper nanako) with thin carvings to create a beach with raised and lowered areas, and conch, spiral shells, clams, scallops, etc. with silver curvilinear inlays to represent the flowing waters of the sea. It was recognized as a Kyo-kanagushi metalwork and passed the Hozon Tosogu shinsa in the February 2025.
