| The dragon soaring high in the heavens is an auspicious spirit beast symbolizing leaps forward. This fuchi-kashira features a richly engraved and inlayed on the shakudo nanako pattern ground with vibrant gold gilding, depicting auspicious clouds enveloping the entire scene and a majestic dragon. It was probably made by a Kyo-kinko metalworker. |
