This Nobukuni Tachi has passed the 61st Juyo Token Shinsa in 2015. Nobukuni is a famous lineage that was active during the Nambokucho to the Muromachi Period in Kyoto, Yamashiro Province. Nobukuni first generation was a family member related to Ryokai. Considering the features of the Mei, this Nobukuni was the 4th generation. His work can be found between the years of 1390 to 1417. It has a Sayagaki written by Honami Koson-sensei in 1948. There is an engraving on the both sides of the blade that is one of the features of Nobukuni. A very sound Juyo Token with Mei. |
