This kogai features a lustrous, high-quality shakudo with aged nanako pattern and a small, compact three mitsuba-aoi crests, creating a dignified atmosphere. The hakogaki/box inscription written by Kanzan sensei (1969) reads "mumei/unsigned, but by Sojo [宗乗]", however it was recognized as an Ko-kinko [古金工] work and passed the Hozon Tosogu shinsa in May 2025. It is a rare item in excellent condition. |
