| Xiwangmu is one of the most famous immortals in China. She is depicted as a beautiful woman with peach. This set of menuki shows Xiwangmu bestowing a peach, which is said to give a lifespan of 3,000 years, on Emperor Wu of Han. Most of the pieces are decorated with gold color gilding and inlay, creating a gorgeous and realistic menuki. |
