| This work was made by the second generation Ichige Tokurin II. The second generation can be distinguished by the character used in the signature, as the “隣” character is used in place of the “鄰” employed by the first generation, although some examples are signed in the same manner as the first generation. His works are scarce, making this sword particularly valuable.The sword is accompanied by a Chiisagatana-koshirae with a black roiro lacquered saya decorated with tate-shino-kizami.This blade passed the 2023 Hozon Token shinsa. |
