Jakushi [若芝] was a Hizen metalworker during the late Edo period and created unique tsuba with thin relief engraving and gold overlay, depicts landscapes and dragons. There were several Jakushi because of the deferent signatures. This tsuba has a Jakushi signature with a landscape design. It has passed the Hozon Tosogu shinsa in 2019. |
