| This plain hamidashi-tsuba was engraved with the bold inscription "Made by Tomoshige, resident of Suifu [水府住 朝重作]." Perhaps it was an avocation tsuba made by a samurai of the Mito domain. It inspires curiosity. It has passed the Hozon Tosogu shinsa in 2024. |
