'Fukiyose' pattern means leaves and flower petals blown by the wind and gathered together in one place. This tsuba was made in collaboration between Shoami Kuninori [正阿弥国矩] and Shoami Kanenori [正阿弥包矩] of the Aizu Shoami school [会津正阿弥派]. The polished iron ground features Kurikomi-mokko shape and its rim has covered with shakudo, making it a time-consuming process. It has passed the Hozon Tosogu shinsa in February 2025. |
