Ikeda Kazutsugu [池田一次], a resident of Shonai, was a swordsmith. He was the second son of the second Ikeda Kazuhide [池田一秀]. He was an official swordsmith employed by the Shonai domain. This tosho-tsuba with mei of Ikeda Kazutsugu, features a square-shaped with four corners inward with a kosukashi openwork arrowhead and udenuki-ana holes. |
