This mumei/unsigned tsuba features traditional Kyoto inlay work. It is an yatsumokko/eight-pronged quince-shaped hamidashi-tsuba with a reminiscent of the cloisonné crests shaped rim. The saya-mon pattern was applied to the entire surface and scattered crests with flat inlay. It has been recognized as the Umetada school and passed the Hozon Tosogu shinsa in May 2025. |
