This Yaguruma-sukashi openwork tsuba features arrow feathers, which represent martial spirit, arranged radially towards the seppa-dai and surrounded by a circle. Yaguruma-sukashi tsuba was a design seen in Bushu and Akasaka tsuba. This tsuba has an old iron feel, with the tekkotsu visible on the rim, and the hakogaki box inscription by Kanzan sensei reads "Unsigned, Owari". |
