| This metalworker, Masamitsu [正充], inherited the family leanage in 1791 and became a craftsman for the Tottori domain of Inaba Province in 1806. This tsuba is a rugged, practical tsuba with udenuki-ana holes pierced into a forged iron. It retains traces at the seppadai which was the evidence of having used as a part of koshirae for probably a long-bladed sword. It has passed the Hozon Tosogu shinsa in 2024. |
