| This swordsmith, Shinano Daijo Fujiwara Tadakuni, was second generation. His lineage started in the Tottori, Inaba Province from the early Edo Period until the early Meiji Period. It lasted for 8 or 9 generations. They flourished and kept the features of the Horikawa school. This Wakizashi gives a strong impression with a wider Mihaba and bigger Kissaki. The Hamon is Gunome-midare with Sunagashi and Tobiyaki. An attractive Hamon. It comes with a Wakizashi style Koshirae with a brown lacquer unusual pattern Saya. It has passed the Tokubetsu Hozon Token shinsa in 1996. |
