| ko-itameThis wakizashi, “Bishū-ju Tomohisa,” was the Bingo Mihara school in the late Muromachi period. The Mihara school emerged in the late Kamakura period with Masaie as its founder, continuing until the late Muromachi period. Its style follows the Yamato-den. This wakizashi features suguha hamon along with ko-nie on koitame jigane. The nakago exhibits a natural old rust color, file marks, and an inscription, all in excellent condition. It passed the Tokubetsu Hozon Token shinsa in June 2025. It comes with a wakizashi koshirae with a black lacquered saya. |
